This is a climate-controlled facility that specializes in injection-molded plastic parts primarily for automotive interiors, offering competitive pay up to $17.65 per hour, excellent benefits, 401k, and long-term career growth opportunities.
Process/Mold Setter - Injection Molding Summary
Pay: $17.65/hr
Performs injection mold changes, robot/work cell setups, minor maintenance, and supports all production and safety requirements. Works in a busy molding shop with heat, hot plastic, oil, water, and high forklift traffic. Must be able to work under pressure, stay late or come in early when needed, and assist with diagnostics and proactive problem solving.
Process/Mold Setter - Injection Molding Qualifications
  • 3-5 years mold setting experience strongly preferred
  • Skilled in plastic injection mold changes, setups, hookups, and processing adjustments
  • Able to perform minor mold and machine maintenance
  • Experience with overhead hoists, hi-lo operation, and safe machine handling
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work both independently and with a team
  • High school diploma required
  • Comfortable working in a hot, active production environment
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, early/late shifts as needed
  • Good troubleshooting/diagnostic abilities with a proactive mindset
