What does a process support engineer do?

A Process Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing or production processes run smoothly and efficiently. They analyze existing workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements to optimize productivity and quality. These engineers often collaborate with other departments to develop solutions for process-related problems and may also help train staff on new procedures or equipment. Their goal is to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and maintain high safety and quality standards in the production environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a process support engineer?

To thrive as a Process Support Engineer, you need a solid background in chemical or mechanical engineering, process optimization, and problem-solving, typically supported by a relevant engineering degree.
