GURSTEL LAW FIRM, P.C. – Process Server Manager


JOB SUMMARY

As the Process Server Manager, you will oversee the firm’s Process Servers and complete complex legal reviews, which requires an advanced level of legal knowledge and experience specific to the firm and vendors you oversee. Utilizing an advanced understanding of the legal process, the Process Server Manager is an elevated position that is exposed to highly skilled centralized tasks. These tasks generally consist of reviewing files, working with Process Servers to improve process and increase serves, auditing process server results, and working directly with the state leads, the Director of Inventory Management, Accounting and the Vendor Manager.

Supervise process servers and ensure effective production of services rendered:

  • Monitoring daily codes/exception reports and identifying potential issues.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders, keeping them informed about vendor performance and any issues that may arise across states
  • Assisting in continued development of process server work standards manual
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with process servers, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring they meet service level agreements
  • Stay abreast of new services offered process server and vet them with state leads for implementation
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new process servers identifying areas of opportunity
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships, such as compliance risks, financial risks, or service disruptions, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Oversee the auditing of process server work standards to identify gaps in reporting or potential service issues.
  • Assist management for miscellaneous needs and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or business management preferred. (experience may be substituted for education).
  • Legal field certificate/2-yr degree (experience may be substituted for education),
  • 1 year of supervisory and industry experience preferred
  • Must have a least one (1) year experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal
  • Background in Retail Claims and Creditors’ Rights Laws preferred
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to build teams.
  • Knowledge of CLS preferred
  • Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
  • 50+ WPM typing skills
  • Responsible individual who is able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time; bend, lift, or carry up to 20 pounds; answer and make telephone calls; utilize keyboard and mouse.

TRAVEL – This position requires up to 0-5% travel. Travel excludes local commute.
