Job description

About ABC Legal Services:

ABC Legal Service is proud to be the national leader in service of process. We are a team of 1000 and growing with offices in Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Chicago, Washington DC, and more. Seattle is our home and headquarters. We've been successful in this unique business for over 30 years and we continue to advance our technology and business processes to remain years ahead of what our competition is able to offer. Our focus is to expand our technology lead, acquire and integrate less efficient competitors, and tap into new segments through an integrated inbound marketing and sales approach.

Job Overview:

We're hiring a Recruiting Manager to lead a team of 7 process server recruiters who build and maintain active server coverage across the U.S. — dozens of states, each with its own certification rules, seasonal exam cycles, and local quirks. This is a leadership role built around ownership: design the sourcing strategy for a complex, state-by-state market, use AI as a core part of how the team sources, screens, and reports, and build recruiters who run their own territories with autonomy. We want a builder, not a caretaker — someone excited to design the system, not just inherit one. Your recruiters work both ends of the spectrum: closing experienced, in-demand process servers, and patiently guiding newcomers through what the work actually involves. Your team needs to be strong at both.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and run sourcing strategy across highly varied state/local markets — from certification-gated states to reactive, direct-outreach corridors
  • Own job board spend and channel mix week-to-week, testing and refining based on what's converting in each market
  • Use AI (Metabase reporting) to catch coverage hotspots and gaps before they become SLA problems
  • Build and run AI-assisted candidate screening — designing your own evaluation questions and scoring criteria (Braintrust or equivalent)
  • Use AI to keep candidates engaged through a signup process that often stretches over days or weeks, closing the gap where people stall
  • Lead and coach 7 process server recruiters, each owning specific states/territories, with a clear performance bar
  • Set individual and team goals/KPIs tied to coverage targets; run regular 1:1s and data-grounded performance check-ins
  • Support recruiters in owning their territories with real autonomy
  • Stay hands-on — sourcing execution, CRM pipeline hygiene, campaign management — while balancing strategic ownership
  • Find and eliminate waste (manual steps, low-yield channels); address structural bottlenecks (certification constraints, dispatch handoffs, stalled CRM stages)
  • Partner cross-functionally with dispatch and operations leadership to keep recruiting aligned with real coverage gaps

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years recruiting experience, incl. 2+ years leading/managing a team, with demonstrated results
  • Genuine hands-on experience using AI for analysis — finding patterns/gaps in operational data, not just faster resume reading
  • Strong analytical skills working from CRM/reporting data (HubSpot or similar) to drive sourcing and staffing decisions
  • Experience designing AI-assisted screening/eval frameworks (Braintrust or comparable)
  • Experience standing up a sourcing strategy from scratch and owning a sourcing/job board budget
  • High-volume, metric-driven recruiting background (gig work, logistics, field-based hiring a plus)
  • Structured, accountable, collaborative leadership style; comfortable owning ambiguity across many small markets
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; a creative, proactive problem-solver

Benefits:

  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • 7 Paid company holidays
  • 4 Floating holidays per-year
  • Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance
  • Long Term Disability
  • Health Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account
  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
  • EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
  • Pet Insurance

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm CST or MST
Location: Remote, USA
