As a Process Server, you deliver legal documents such as notices, complaints, court summons, and subpoenas to people or defendants involved in lawsuits or court proceedings. You must follow state and federal laws when serving papers to individuals. For example, you cannot pretend to be law enforcement or use harrassment to serve the papers. Some documents are recquired to be deliver personally by the server, who must identify the recipient of the document. Most Process Servers need to be registered.

Requirements
Certification: You must be a Licensed, Registered, or Certified Process Server if your state or county laws require it.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Technical Skills: Proficient with iPhone/iPad or Android devices and capable of using a mobile app.
Document Handling: Ability to scan and print documents. Free printing services are available via FedEx.
Experience: Prior experience in process serving or a related field (law enforcement, private investigations, etc.) is required, as Proof is not an employer and does not provide training.
National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) membership is preferred.
