Wage - $62,5000 annually - DOE

Schedule - Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday - Friday; 12pm to 9pm

What you will be doing: You'll be responsible for the management of center safety, security, fire protection, and liaison with law enforcement and other support agencies, in compliance with government and management directives. sponsible for the management of safety & security which includes student safety, security and fire protection, and liaison with security and law enforcement agencies.

Essential functions: 

  • Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative, student safety and security activities of the department; serve as a liaison between center and immediate community in security and law enforcement matters.
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide staff training and implement department and personnel changes as approved the the community life director and coordinated with the manager, human resources prior to implementation
  • Develop departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
  • Oversee the development of the Occupations safety and Health Plan, coordination of fire protections, inspections of the facility and frequent fire drills. Act as a liaison of federal, state, and local safety and fire officials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year related experience, must have supervisory experience
  • Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
