Project Manager โ€“ Energy Construction



Remote + Travel

Salary Range - $100,000 โ€“ 160,000 


Wikota Design & Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee energy construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, as well as proven experience coordinating teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders within the energy sector.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver energy construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate and supervise internal project teams, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, environmental requirements, and company policies
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Prepare, review, and present project reports including cost tracking, schedule updates, and quality metrics
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services specific to energy construction projects
  • Resolve projectโ€‘related issues, conflicts, and changes in scope as they arise



Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in energy construction (oil & gas, renewable energy, power generation, or similar sectors)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project controls, and energy industry standards and regulations
  • Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated leadership, problemโ€‘solving, and decisionโ€‘making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastโ€‘paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
