The Project Manager will lead and oversee the end‑to‑end execution of low voltage and network hardware installation projects for our managed WiFi solutions. The ideal candidate has a solid background in project management, expertise in low voltage systems, and experience with network hardware deployment. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to team coordination and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Project Initiation
  • Review and fully understand contract and pre‑sale deliverables: Sales Budget, Scope of Work, Design, Circuit Provider plan, and revenue/conversion model - to ensure proper delivery of system and services
  • Plan, manage, and execute projects related to low voltage cabling and network hardware installations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards.
Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise and coordinate teams within Aerwave, including CSM, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership, as well as subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals
  • Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor/report performance.
  • Foster collaboration and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders.
  • Mentors & provides guidance to new hires and the rest of the PM team.
Technical Management
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems (structured cabling, fiber optics, etc.) and network hardware (routers, switches, access points).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle utilizing company resources and management as necessary
Client Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ownership clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Provide regular project updates, including progress reports, milestones, and risk assessments.
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Budget and Resource Management
  • Track project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Manage procurement of equipment, materials, and resources required for installations.
  • Review and approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivables and assist with collections as necessary.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure site inspections occur by Construction Manager to verify work quality and adherence to Aerwave standards
  • Ensure proper documentation of installations, configurations, and as‑built drawings.
Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve conflicts or delays that arise during project execution.
  • Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
Project Plan and Schedule Management
  • Create and Update Project Plan and Schedule accounting for all relevant in‑scope items, tasks, responsibilities and due dates
  • Ensure project phase completions occur with all deliverables submitted prior to closing the phase
  • Ensure completion of all tasks and activities are QC'ed by the appropriate subject matter expert (SME)
  • Ensure proper punch‑list completion along with all closeout materials submitted
  • Schedule and execute Closeout Meetings and guide all stakeholder through Lessons Learned process
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Telecommunications or a related field or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects involving low voltage systems and network hardware installations.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, and network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, access points).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and technical documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Experience in tenant finish out project management, expediting, and logistics management.
  • Experience in inspection and compliance with regulations.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Understand critical milestones that drive operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
