We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across Quality, IT, Operations, and Process Excellence within a fast-paced EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment. This role is critical in driving strategic improvements, optimizing processes, and delivering high-impact results that enhance overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-visibility, multi-department projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Direct cross-functional teams, remove roadblocks, and maintain project momentum.
  • Track, analyze, and report project performance using KPIs and executive-level reporting.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, IT, Operations, and leadership to resolve issues and secure resources.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Mentor team members on project management and process improvement best practices.
  • Develop and optimize SOPs, workflows, and system processes.
  • Lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities related to quality or operational challenges.
  • Standardize project management practices and contribute to organizational governance.
  • Identify and implement enterprise-wide efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5โ€“7+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, quality, IT, or process-driven environments
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • PMP certification strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and tools
  • Experience in manufacturing environments (electronics or contract manufacturing preferred)
  • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, audits, CAPA) is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project); ERP or PM tools experience a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams
