We are looking for a Project Manager II to join our team! The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of project management services for assigned projects for Gateway Ticketing Systems customers. This position is hybrid if candidate is local to Gilbertsville, PA office. Otherwise, the role will be remote.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience managing technical projects.

Core Competencies:

  • Expert understanding of all Galaxy components and their operations.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support across all Galaxy components, accurately diagnosing issues and directing resolutions through appropriate Gateway resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including exhibiting professionalism and diplomacy when working with customers.
  • Demonstrated, in-depth technical knowledge of supported Gateway Ticketing Systems software and solutions.
  • Proven experience with coordination of multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and working productively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) and project management software to organize, monitor, and execute projects efficiently.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the calendar year, which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work/communicate to all levels of management and knowledge-based personnel and keep a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and on an individual basis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working additional hours beyond regularly scheduled hours as requested by management.
  • Understanding of the necessity to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering processes.
  • Managing projects from the point of client commitment until all project related items are delivered in full; this includes:
  • Working with new clients transitioning from their current ticketing system software to the Galaxy ticketing system software.
  • Completing site surveys to analyze client requirements, such as networking, power, cabinetry,
  • Reviewing and completing final changes for sales orders.
  • Completing/Adding new features or services to a sales order.
  • Scheduling and confirming all third-party related training/support visits.
  • Working with existing clients who purchased additional features and functionality in relation to the Galaxy ticketing system software or hardware. (For example, new Kiosk installation, software upgrades, and setup fees)
  • Key focus areas include controlling the scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management within a project
  • Managing resources of the project team and delivery, which includes scheduling, planning and timesheet review.
  • Ensuring successful project deliveries on-time and within budget.
  • Lead cross functional project teams, insuring quality control throughout the project lifecycles; which includes training and ordering of equipment.
  • Ensuring customerโ€™s satisfaction while upholding Gatewayโ€™s common business practices and operational/business needs.
  • Communicating and logging all client communications/visits via documentation such that the client can be supported by in-house staff as well as maintaining frequent contact with the office during travels.
  • Assisting Finance in invoice collections as they relate to areas of the project.
  • Back up and aide Implementation Specialist in training clients in the Galaxy Product Suite.
  • Work with Marketing to generate Press Releases regarding the project delivery.
  • Managing multiple medium to large projects throughout the course of the year โ€“ 5-10 on average.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by leadership, contributing to overall project and team effectiveness.
