Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for providing project support and updates to employees, leadership, and the customer. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge. 

*Must reside in Texas (with ability to travel to project sites from time to time within the state of Texas)

In addition, you will:

  • Manage civil/electrical data center projects across the state of Texas
  • Coordinate with regional project managers and field teams 
  • Ensure consistent execution standards across all sites, and improve delivery efficiency
  • Conduct end-to-end project management, capture lessons learned across projects
  • Manage and lead internal and external project teams 
  • Develop, maintain, and provide job progress reporting through continued monitoring of job status
  • Assist in developing work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Build processes and teams required to deliver all project requirements
  • Coordinate internally with various groups from Business Development, Engineering, and Operations, throughout the Project lifecycle, from customer consultation, design, installation, commissioning, and closeout, helping to collect lessons learned and best practices 
  • Lead weekly meetings with the client and project team
  • Update local leadership with new projects, schedule issues, and client concerns
  • Manage client needs and concerns through on/off-site meetings
  • Support the onboarding process and program for new customers
  • Communicate and train internal departments on customer procedures and expected deliverables
  • Customer engagement for weekly calls, status updates, forecasting, scheduling, etc.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • You have 2+ years of experience, managing civil/electrical projects, preferably within data center construction
  • You are a doer with a get-things-done attitude, ready to help scale the process nationally 
  • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
  • You have extensive experience tracking and monitoring construction projects
  • You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn custom software
  • You have excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • You have excellent multitasking skills and can quickly transition between projects
  • This is a remote opportunity to residents of Texas, with some expected travel throughout the state (Preference for applicants in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, TX)

Compensation of $90,000-$105,000 annually, depending on the experience.
