We are seeking a Project Manager with direct experience managing power, telecommunications, fiber optic, earthwork, and site civil projects from start to finish in the Aiken, SC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Align labor, equipment, and crews for optimal field production across all civil and utility scopes
  • Generate accurate and timely project information for heavy civil and utility work
  • Develop a deep understanding of plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Build and maintain the project plan, including sequencing for power, telecommunications, fiber optic, earthwork, and structures
  • Create the preliminary project schedule and maintain weekly progress updates
  • Perform full job setup including contract review, cost codes, utility quantity tracking, and budget oversight
  • Catalog and track submittals, RFIs, PCOs, quantities, equipment, and material procurement specific to civil and utility work
  • Lead subcontractor and supplier buyout for pipe materials, structures, excavation support, and specialty civil items
  • Submit all required information and questions for efficient field execution
  • Prepare and submit change orders tied to scope growth in utilities, earthwork, and structures
  • Submit timely pay applications while keeping accounts receivable current
  • Lead in internal planning & measurement processes
  • Provide supervision, direction, communication, and development of the project team, including field supervision
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by staying engaged throughout all civil and utility phases of the project

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
  • Experience managing power, telecommunications, fiber optic, earthwork, and site civil projects
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.
