Project Manager

The Techline Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all required materials are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required standards. The role requires close collaboration with Techline leadership, team members, manufacturers, and customers, with oversight of transmission and substation sourcing/inventories across product groups such as transformers, wire/cable, hardware, connectors, insulators, poles, and crossarms.


The Project Manager role is essential to conducting general business operations at Techline and in meeting the needs of its customers. Skillfully exercising independent judgement and discretion is essential to the success of someone in this position.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, establish schedules, allocate resources, and manage risks to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams, manufacturers, and customers to align expectations and resolve challenges.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Monitor market trends and industry conditions to anticipate risks and mitigate potential delays.
  • Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking and timely fulfillment of materials.
  • Implement operational best practices, including process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track and report project status, progress, and challenges on a regular basis.

Expected Deliverables

  • A detailed project plan with defined scope, schedules, and milestones.
  • Verified and accurate material status reports to support project requirements.
  • Regular project updates and risk assessments shared with stakeholders.
  • Documented process improvements and efficiency recommendations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year project management-based work experience required
  • Minimum of three to five years of supply chain experience preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years of transmission substation experience preferred
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

  • Possess strong written and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Exhibit the ability to negotiate and problem-solve.
  • Demonstrate initiative to take on new projects and learn new skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Site visits to warehouses or job locations may be required to oversee project execution and material flow.
