Summary:

The VMO Governance Analyst III is responsible for contributing to and may lead the development of VMO governance, tooling, workforce enablement, and reporting initiatives. They contribute to and may lead continuous improvement efforts, monitor, and report on compliance with VMO standards, policies, and processes, recommend improvements, and participate in the creation and delivery of training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and maintain existing programs, materials, tools, training, and reporting.
  • Assess existing programs, materials, training, and reports to identify gaps, recommend and implement improvements.
  • Design, develop, and implement new programs, initiatives, materials, training, and reporting supporting governance, workforce enablement, and tooling.
  • Monitor, report on, and identify gaps in compliance with VMO governance and processes and recommend improvements to mitigate gaps.
  • Support Taxonomy, Value Stream, and Objective and Key Result (OKR) definition and ongoing governance and reporting for business segments.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings across the VMO and with partners and stakeholders.
  • Perform research and analysis supporting VMO efforts and support presentation of conclusions and recommendations.
  • Serve as a VMO subject matter expert to provide guidance and answer questions from colleagues.
  • Coordinate, support, and deliver training.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members and peers.
  • Onboard and support new team members.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 -8 years’ experience working in a delivery (e.g., BSA, Tester, Developer, etc.) or Value Management Office (VMO) role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient using O365, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow PPM, AgilePlace, etc.
  • Ability to synthesize data to make recommendations and drive decision-making.
  • Strong expertise creating process maps using Visio or similar tools.
  • Ability to deliver training and provide relatable examples for participants.
  • Strong understanding of solution delivery frameworks.
  • Strong technical writing capabilities with the ability to define and document standards, procedures, processes, and job aids.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication, active listening, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and confidently with team members, colleagues, teams, and managers.
  • Highly motivated with strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability building credibility and strong partnerships within the team and across the organization.
  • Proven ability negotiating and resolving conflicts successfully.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, determine priorities, and execute in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members and peers.
