RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors process performance and identifies opportunities for improving yield, energy efficiency, and reliability. Assists in plan test runs and develops projects to address opportunities.
Supports collaboration with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve operational challenges. Develops relationships with console and field operators.
Participates in hazard evaluations, incident investigations, and management of change. Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
Supports turnaround/outage execution. May review turnaround planning, including scope development and post-event evaluations
Maintains and updates process documentation. Troubleshoots and maintains unit mass balance within tolerance.
Participates in technology advisory groups.

Qualifications:

  • Required Major: Chemical Engineering

  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Must be a former Intern of Marathon Petroleum Corporation

  • A valid driver's license is required
