Job description

Job Title: Data Coordinator
Location: Darien, CT
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: M-F 9am-5pm
Compensation: $30.00/hr
Type: 12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, and organize raw material regulatory, technical, and sustainability documentation from suppliers and internal databases
  • Support chemist with raw materials needed for formula development
  • Prioritize raw materials for review and update based on requirements, business needs, and project timelines
  • Track progress and maintain visibility of outstanding documentation requests
  • Partner with global R&D and Product Lifecycle Management teams to obtain and validate raw material information
  • Observe and understand current workflows, pain points, and opportunities
  • Gather input and translate needs into actionable improvements
  • Advance digital, system, and process capabilities by:
  • Creating, improving, and maintaining Excel tools (tracking, reporting, automation)
  • Supporting implementation and adoption of new software or systems
  • Developing simple, practical digital solutions that improve efficiency and data quality
  • Assist with documentation, process mapping, and basic computer training materials as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization, reporting; automation a plus)
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and process minded
  • Strong listening skills with a proactive, solution oriented mindset
  • Comfortable balancing both administrative tasks and technical problem solving
  • Science or Engineering background preferred
