Qualifications
The above level of knowledge, skills and abilities are acquired through the successful completion of an Associate's Degree.
Bachelor's degree is in business, manufacturing, healthcare administration, public health, health sciences is preferred or 5 to 10 years' experience in an acute care Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospital. Current Sterile Processing Technician certification (CRCST) from International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAAHCSMM) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) required.
One (1) year of supervisory experience in a union environment preferred. Certification in Leadership. Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) within 18 months of hire.
