Everything we do is centered around that mission, and we are looking for someone who wants their work to have a meaningful impact on the people we serve.We are hiring a Quality Improvement Specialist – Housing to join our Quality Improvement team in Salt Lake City!About the RoleAs a Quality Improvement Specialist, you'll play an important role in helping First Step House provide high-quality services while ensuring our Housing and Case Management programs remain compliant with contract, grant, and regulatory requirements.This position focuses specifically on compliance with city, county, state, and federal housing-related funding and regulations, including programs such as TBRA, HOME, HOME-ARP, COC, FOF, SHF, PROUD, and LIHTC, as well as federal HUD guidelines.You'll work across teams to review contracts, develop and update contract implementation guides, conduct internal audits, prepare for and lead external audits, monitor organizational outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve policies, procedures, and processes.This is a great role for someone who loves organization, problem-solving, quality improvement, compliance, and working with people. You'll collaborate with case management and supportive housing teams, supervisors, treatment teams, community partners, government agencies, legal entities, funders, leadership, and other stakeholders.The role requires someone who can balance competing priorities and navigate the different needs and interests of clients, staff, funders, and other stakeholders while maintaining strong interpersonal boundaries and ethical standards.
