Project Implementation Manager (ERP & CRM)

Location: Greater Boston Area (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Potential for Extension)
Primary Focus: Salesforce CPQ & NetSuite Modernization

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Project Manager / Implementation Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise-level ERP and CRM initiatives. This role is central to our digital transformation, specifically focusing on the integration and rollout of Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader capable of orchestrating complex system migrations, managing cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring high-level stakeholder alignment. You will be responsible for the project lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through post-go-live stabilization, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality and budgetary standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Orchestrate the full implementation lifecycle for ERP and CRM workstreams, with specialized oversight of Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite modules.
  • Scope & Governance: Define comprehensive project scopes, success criteria, and governance models in collaboration with executive sponsors and business leads.
  • Roadmap Development: Establish and maintain detailed project schedules, resource allocation models, and budget tracking to ensure milestone achievement.
Technical Oversight & Delivery
  • Implementation Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams through system design, configuration, and customization, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Data & Integration: Oversee critical data migration strategies and system integration tasks, ensuring data integrity and seamless interoperability between platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bug tracking, and remediation efforts to guarantee a high-quality production release.
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Communication Hub: Serve as the primary liaison between business users, technical architects, and third-party consultants/vendors.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and risks, developing robust mitigation strategies to maintain project velocity.
  • Operational Readiness: Lead change management activities, including the development of training materials and knowledge transfer sessions for post-launch support teams.
Required Experience & QualificationsCore Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of dedicated project management experience, specifically leading large-scale ERP and CRM implementations.
  • Platform Expertise: Demonstrated success managing high-complexity projects involving Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite.
  • Methodology: Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management frameworks, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical & Professional Competencies
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of core business processes, including Finance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities for non-technical executive audiences.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage distributed/remote teams and coordinate effectively with external vendor resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or platform-specific certifications (Salesforce/NetSuite).
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience within the Alarms or Security Services industry is highly desirable.
  • Geographic Preference: Candidates based in the Greater Boston area are preferred for occasional onsite strategic sessions.
