The Sales & Business Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales and finance activities at a single store location. This position leads the sales team, assists RV Sales Associates in closing deals, manages customer financing and protection products, ensures legal compliance, and provides professional leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing dealership profitability.

$110,000 - $150,000 annually

Successful candidates will:
  • Lead all retail sales activities and oversee the daily operation of the sales department.
  • Evaluate customer needs and budgets while assisting RV Sales Associates in selecting the appropriate RV and negotiating customer deals.
  • Desk deals, structure transactions, and assist in closing customers when necessary.
  • Offer financing, extended service contracts, GAP, and other protection products while explaining all available options to customers.
  • Process and secure financing by ensuring credit applications, lender documentation, legal disclosures, and all required paperwork are accurately completed.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer finance partners.
  • Ensure every retail customer is presented finance and protection product options.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, lender, DMV, and dealership regulations governing vehicle sales and financing.
  • Conduct inspections of customer trades and approve final reconditioning decisions.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, lead development meetings, and monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with RV Sales Associates.
  • Train and coach sales staff on selling skills, financing options, product knowledge, CRM usage, and dealership processes.
  • Implement dealership sales initiatives, promotions, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor dealership KPIs including: Closing Ratio, Write-Up Percentage, Finance Penetration, Product Penetration, Gross Profit, Customer Satisfaction, Salesperson Performance
  • Review deals for profitability, compliance, and accuracy prior to funding.
  • Coordinate closely with Parts, Service, and Delivery departments to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
  • Attend off-site shows, manufacturer events, and training programs as requested.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Motorized Sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities
As the senior sales leader within the store, this position provides leadership, coaching, scheduling, hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, accountability, and disciplinary recommendations while partnering with department managers to ensure exceptional dealership operations. This position directly supervises:
  • RV Sales Associates
  • Receptionist
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in automotive or RV retail
  • Minimum 3 years sales management experience
  • Loan closing and loan funding experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Weekend work required
