Job Summary:

The Process Engineer supports the design and execution of bulk and specialty chemical and gas systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Working under the direction of a Lead or Senior Engineer, this role contributes to process design, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction support across project phases. The position is ideal for a mid-level engineer seeking to grow technical depth and semiconductor project experience.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-AM3

Major Responsibilities:
  • Support design and implementation of bulk and specialty gas and chemical systems
  • Prepare and update process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications)
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
  • Participate in technical reviews, safety and operability studies, and design reviews
  • Assist with code compliance, vendor evaluations, and construction-phase support
  • Identify design issues and propose solutions for review by senior engineers
  • Support estimates, work plans, schedules, and progress reporting
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5-8 years of relevant process engineering experience
  • Semiconductor manufacturing or process utility experience preferred
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor bulk and specialty gas systems
  • Familiarity with industrial and hazardous gases and associated safety requirements
  • Understanding of gas system components, layouts, and materials
  • Basic familiarity with applicable codes and standards (IBC, IFC, NFPA, SEMI)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills\
  • Willingness to learn and grow under technical mentorship
