Program Manager
Location: Patterson, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Program Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing programs from initial scope development through production and delivery. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Vendors, and Customers to ensure programs remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing aerospace and defense manufacturing organization where you'll have visibility across the entire product lifecycle and play a critical role in driving successful program execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and review of Statements of Work (SOWs) for new and existing programs.
  • Partner with Engineering and Sales teams to support cost estimating and resource planning efforts.
  • Confirm and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assigned programs.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage program schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Track project milestones and drive accountability to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to support program requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Customers, and external partners.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for customer meetings and program reviews.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate risks, challenges, and mitigation plans.
  • Support programs throughout the manufacturing process to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute across multiple functional areas as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Program Management or Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace, Defense, Electronics Manufacturing, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting customer programs from proposal through production.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Experience working within a small to mid-sized company environment.
