Job description

Assist with mold design and qualification of new molds
- Project Management skills
-New product validation leadership across cross-functional teams
• Attend the weekly new projects meeting and assign resources to the projects for the group
• Support molding process decisions and facility infrastructure for new programs and current manufacturing lines.
• Establish the process parameters for new programs and ensure the completion of the MAP documentation per procedure with the Global Operations Team. Lead team MAP reviews.
• Ensure completion of D.O.E on all new molds as necessary with the Global operations Team.
• Assist and promote manufacturing personnel with continuous improvement process when needed.
• Ensures high level of quality within the group activities
• Assist projects by setting timelines/process milestones and ensuring those timelines are met
• Execute process development by utilizing all available resources and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Review project/process feasibility before beginning projects
• Assist in the process of engineering initiatives and process optimizations with other internal groups
• Integrate process engineering lessons learned into new mold designs
• Be able to communicate and train the manufacturing engineering on processes for a clean hand off of the project.
• Assist with the organization of RJG training and other job specific technical training in combination with our strategy to develop our technical work force.
