Job description

Job Title Manufacturing Process Engineer Overview / Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to support manufacturing process engineering activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to optimize manufacturing processes, support assembly operations, and lead process improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing process engineering activities for assembly operations.

Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and improve manufacturing processes. Lead projects involving the delivery and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.

Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with operational guidelines and process discipline requirements. Perform ergonomic evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed. Analyze inventory-related root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce rejects.

Create process documentation and work instruction sheets that support quality methods and manufacturing processes. Deliver capable processes and tools for assembly operations. Lead resolution of machining-related concerns.

Drive variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives. Ensure compliance with plant, corporate, governmental, and environmental standards. Identify throughput constraints and implement root-cause improvements to achieve production targets.

Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of related Manufacturing Process Engineering experience. Experience with: Process Validation Lean Manufacturing Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineering Problem Solving Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Experience with: Assembly Lines Process Improvement PPAP Processes Manufacturing Processes Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated project management and equipment delivery experience.

Understanding of Gauge R&R and capability studies. Experience working with axles or other automotive components. Six Sigma experience.

Experience with FMEA, PPAP, and DOE methodologies. Knowledge of Visual Factory Management. Ergonomic analysis experience.
