Description

The Process Engineer collaborates on materials, process, equipment, and methods development to optimize manufacturing and quality performance. Responsibilities include planning and executing experimental evaluations, improving process efficiency, supporting equipment maintenance and modifications, and contributing to the development and commercialization of new products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field - Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or other related field.
  • Strong industrial machinery troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) project skills
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Statistical analysis capability

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and support process optimization initiatives, new product trials, and productivity improvements
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Provide daily process support to manufacturing operations.
  • Lead root cause analyses to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses to support continuous process improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation and standard procedures.
  • Support training activities related to new or revised process procedures.
  • Assist with equipment repairs, replacements, andย modifications to improve reliability and functionality.
  • Participate in new product engineering efforts and support plant trials.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Work around varying temperatures
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
