Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Application Suite ,
• Experience in Kepware configurations
• Experience with .NET MES applications
• Experience with Ignition SCADA platform.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with MESERP (e.g., SAP/QAD) integration and machine connectivity.
• Familiarity with Kepware and OPC protocols
• Proficiency in SQL, data validation, troubleshooting data gaps, latency, and interface issues.
• Hands-on experience in L2/L3 support, RCA, incident resolution, and performance optimization in a live production environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with plant engineering, vendors, and global IT teams; strong communication skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide L2/L3 support for MES/MoM systems ensuring high availability and minimal production downtime
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to orders, WIP, traceability, and quality data
• Ensure timely incident resolution and RCA, adhering to SLA and minimizing business impact.
• Troubleshoot machine connectivity issues (OPC UA, MQTT, PLCs) and resolve data inconsistencies or latency issue
• Collaborate with plant engineering, controls teams, central IT, and external vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions
• Support MES rollout, line commissioning, and system configuration/testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and incident reduction
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Manufacturing domain experience
• Knowledge of scripting languages used in Ignition (Python, JavaScript).
• Strong issue solving and analysis skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Base Salary Range : $85,000 to $130,000 Per Annum
