Job description

The Underbody Process Engineer Manager - Prismatic Engines will be part of the propulsion systems and chassis projects in advance of phase (or in development), studies and proposes optimized and efficient manufacturing processes as well as the coordination of his field within the phase advance (or COC). Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or technical equivalent
  • 8 or more years' experience in operations / engineering project management
  • Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure
  • Experienced in cost studies and strategic planning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the enterprise including plant leadership, vendors, suppliers, domestic and global business partners.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Engine Manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of Stellantis Industrial Systems or continuous improvement systems
  • Knowledge of other process systems, quality systems, throughput, standardization, and product/process launch
  • Ability to effectively lead a diverse workforce, teach, coach and mentor employees to go above and beyond required operational and business objectives
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Preferred 10 years manufacturing experience, Powertrain Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Preferred 5 years' experience in program management or multi-tasking environment
