Job Summary
The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing process plans for machining and assembly operations. The role involves leading projects related to equipment procurement, installation, production line launches, schedule and budget management, and continuous process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing engineering background, project coordination experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop operating process plans for machining and assembly operations.
  • Lead planning, procurement, installation, trial runs, and launch activities for manufacturing lines.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Develop and improve standard tools, procedures, and benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Analyze manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.
  • Spend time on the manufacturing floor supporting operations and project activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience after graduation.
  • Experience with machining and/or assembly processes.
  • Experience managing project schedules and budgets.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to read, interpret, and modify drawings.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software and engineering drawings.
  • Exposure to project management, equipment installation, or production line launch activities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and plant shutdown periods as required.
  • Local candidates preferred.
