AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Process Engineer at our Lancaster Floor Plant in Lancaster, PA. The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical services for the Lancaster Floor Plant. These services include process improvement work, daily process support, cost reduction activities, new product development, and project management. This position plays a critical role in our continuous improvement activities.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively providing engineering and technical assistance to the operation in terms of production processes and systems, and training.
  • Leading projects and initiatives to drive cost, yield, and up-time improvements.
  • Optimizing material utilization to balance cost, yield and product performance.
  • Identifying and resolving common cause and special cause issues that impact line performance.
  • Troubleshooting process issues and facilitating corrective actions.  This includes consulting with production and maintenance personnel, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective actions, and following through on solutions to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Executing capital projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met or exceeded.  This may vary from owning portions of a large project to sole ownership of a project.
  • Educating operations team on production processes, providing broader understanding, and key process factors that drive consistent success.
  • Coordinating training and start up activities of new equipment and processes.
  • Coordinating with procurement and operations to qualify new raw materials and develop new products.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong change management skills and experience
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
