In this role, you'll work closely with Project Engineers and Managers to support the drafting, design, estimation, installation, and commissioning of process systems tailored to customer needs. You will also assist with developing AutoCAD and 3D drawings to support system layout and equipment design. What You'll Do
  • Partner with Project Engineers in establishing relationships with customers to better understand their engineering needs and lead the project to completion.
  • Assist with developing and managing the project schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the project scope & deliverables.
  • Estimate project costs and develop the proposal for the customer.
  • Design processes for the customer's needs, ideally increasing production rate, volumes, efficiency, etc. per project plan.
  • Work with vendors & suppliers to specify components required.
  • Collaborate with the mechanical design team for fabricating new equipment.
  • Assist with managing the installation of new processes from scheduling resources to ensuring the installation is proceeding as planned.
  • Assist with start-up and commissioning of new processes and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned,

Requirements
Required:
  • Associate degree in drafting or equivalent years of related experience.
  • 1+ years' experience with AutoCAD or 3D.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
  • Travel up to 30%.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in metal fabrication/plumbing/pipefitting.
  • Knowledge of heat and mass transfer relative to basic liquid processing.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range $70,000 - $110,000
The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position.
