Position Summary
We are seeking a Process Engineer Intern to support equipment programming and equipment qualification activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on experience working with engineering teams on process development, equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and manufacturing support. The intern will contribute to real-world engineering projects focused on equipment commissioning, validation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Programming Support
• Assist with programming, setup, or configuration of process equipment
• Support program adjustments and verification during equipment prove-out
• Translate engineering requirements into machine or process parameters
Equipment Qualification & Validation
• Support execution of IQ/OQ/PQ activities
• Assist with data collection, test execution, and documentation
• Support development of validation protocols and reports
Process & Manufacturing Support
• Assist with process development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support validation runs and equipment testing
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Documentation & Compliance
• Prepare and update validation protocols, reports, and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams
• Participate in meetings and communicate project updates
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related) completed within the last 12 months or currently in progress
Technical Skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
