As a Trex Process Development Engineer you’ll be responsible for the design and development of new and innovative processes as well as step-change improvements to existing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Put safety first – Always!
  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Develop proof of concept and prototype equipment/processes
  • Develop prototypes into viable manufacturing processes
  • Perform trials in partnership with both internal and external resources in order to support the above objectives
  • Support change management processes and procedures
  • Use technical knowledge to design, troubleshoot, and optimize new and existing processes
  • Use data to drive decisions on process design and optimization
  • Design for safety by keeping employee safety, equipment design, and material hazards at the forefront of process development
  • Work with equipment suppliers and vendors to vet out new and innovative process technologies
  • Investigate new and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to develop innovative processes

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s of Science in an engineering discipline and 3+ years relevant experience. Project management experience as product and process development experience is preferred.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $83,000 – $100,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
