Job description

High Standard Technology is one of the leading brands of vape technology hardware. The HQ is located in Walnut, California. We are looking for a responsible business development associate to expand our business in a timely and professional manner. You will recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. This is an in-office position only - no remote work. Mandarin speaking is a plus!


Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
  • Provide daily reports of field sales success and communicate data to Executive Management.
  • Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to distribution partners to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process.
  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan as needed.
  • This position requires up to 25% travel, which may include domestic and/or international trips depending on project needs. Travel is necessary to meet with clients. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional overnight stays and flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience of 1-2 years as a sales representative with inside sales.
  • Proven work experience of 1+ years in outbound calling, social media, and prospecting.
  • Work experience as a Lead Inside Sales Representative of 1-2 years is a plus.
  • Account management and relationship-building experience are preferred.
  • Punctuality and reliable transportation are required.
  • Knowledge of the medical and recreational vape industry is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to excel both individually and as a Team Player.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • BS/BA degree is a must

Compensation

  • Base salary (paid hourly) plus commission earned on every sale with no cap on overall individual total.
  • Commission is earned monthly on every paid invoice.
