The Analyst ensures and supports Fleet HR Operations and Travel Services by seeking ways to improve process efficiency and identify cost savings opportunities with respect to Crew Travel. This position is pivotal in the Crew Travel Cost management process, along with monitoring actual crew movements, developing and monitoring reports.

Responsibilities

Work with Fleet Cost Management and Travel Services to identify data collection and reporting needs to achieve monitoring of travel programs.

Prepare and update statistical reports relating to but not limited to planning forecasting, staffing, travel rotation volumes, and Crew Costs as required by management.

Prepare monthly department budget and operational reports for HR specific to Crew Travel, Crew/Ent., including variance reporting and analysis and explanations.

Actively monitor all Crew Rotations and associated travel costs to ensure expenses come in on plan and find possible opportunities.

Monitor trends and prepares ad hoc schedules which highlight potential areas of concern.

Manage reporting processes and coordination of interface between department databases and systems assuring efficient and accurate information.

Act as the department’s primary liaison bridging communications between departments and managing, coordinating and tracking department’s automation projects and data processing.

Research and recommend appropriate opportunities to utilize technology and software/hardware enhancements to reduce costs.

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum BA degree in finance or analytics or Information systems management

Proven advanced user capabilities on MS Excel, MS Access and other database software programs such as Web Focus, Crystal Reports or similar

Strong organizational skills

Proven skills managing projects and leading business teams to deliver timely results based on objective analysis

Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on teaching capabilities and communications abilities

Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently

Ability to work well with individuals at all levels

A self-starter motivated by accomplishment and result
