Job Description: Smartsheet Expert (Workflow Automation Specialist)Position Summary

We are seeking a Smartsheet Expert with strong experience in designing, building, and optimizing automated workflows. This role will be responsible for transforming business processes into scalable, automated solutions within Smartsheet, improving efficiency, visibility, and data accuracy across teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated workflows within Smartsheet.
  • Build and manage Smartsheet solutions including sheets, dashboards, reports, and Control Center (if applicable).
  • Translate business requirements into automated processes, alerts, approvals, and integrations.
  • Configure workflow automation rules, forms, and data pipelines to streamline operations.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights and KPIs.
  • Integrate Smartsheet with other systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Power Automate, APIs, or third-party tools).
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across Smartsheet environments.
  • Troubleshoot workflow issues and continuously optimize performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to users.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Smartsheet Developer, Administrator, or Solution Architect.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Smartsheet workflow automation
    • Forms, alerts, approvals, and conditional logic
    • Reports and dashboards
  • Experience designing complex automated business processes.
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as:
    • Microsoft Power Automate / Power Platform
    • REST APIs or connectors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
