Where the Chemistry HappensYou will be provided with an on-site mentor from our Bishop site which will also ensure compliance with industrial and CLIENT standards. You will be supporting day to day activities regarding our automation systems on site. This task includes:PI system support and monitoringResponding to control loop questionsAssigning DCS points for new projectsInvestigating data and configuration discrepancies (DCS, PI, control loops)PLC support for on-site Coordination with Honeywell for reporting system
This will expose you to:State of the art automation system and network infrastructure,Understand control loops and stand alone control systems,Collaborate internally with different departments and external support parties.
Develop and maintain documentation for automation system documentation. In this process you will learn:Capital project workflow and documentation requirements,How to utilize AI to increase productivity,
Your Formula for SuccessStrong understanding of process automation concepts.Ability to read and understand P&IDs and control drawings.Hands-on experience with DCS systems.Experience with process information or data management systems (PI or similar).Strong data analysis and technical documentation skills.Chemical engineering background with automation exposure preferred.
