About this opportunity:
  • This Financial Analyst Intern opportunity is ideal for a motivated candidate who wants hands-on experience supporting Ericsson's Americas business. The role involves collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams in a fast-paced environment shaped by evolving technology, Network APIs, new competitors, and complex business challenges.
  • Interns will gain broad exposure to Ericsson's telecom operations and contribute to improving business efficiency. Ericsson is a global leader in mobile network equipment and services, serving over 1,000 networks across 180+ countries and holding more than 50% of the U.S. wireless network market.

What you will do:
  • Support monthly closing and performance reporting for Market Area Americas.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and planning cycles.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to help build business cases and track results against defined success metrics.
  • Support data quality checks and prepare financial presentations for Finance leadership.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders on insights, process improvements, and advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

You will bring:
  • Solid academic track record in pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and curious about data analytics, visualizations and ERP/SAP tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • High integrity and willingness to follow and promote Ericsson's code of business ethics.
  • Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn and openness to digitalization and automation of processes and ways of working.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Eligibility requirements:
  • 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • Available for a full-time internship for 12 week
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Masters on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
