Position Overview: As a Production Planning & Manufacturing Intern, you will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the end-to-end production cycle, from initial planning stages to final product delivery.


Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

o Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders and demand forecasts.

o Collaborate with the planning team to optimize production sequences and resource utilization.

Inventory Management:

o Support inventory control efforts by monitoring stock levels and ensuring accurate records.

o Participate in periodic stock checks and contribute to inventory optimization initiatives.

Order Fulfillment:

o Work closely with production supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

o Assist in tracking production progress and updating relevant stakeholders on order status.

Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process optimization within the planning and production functions.

o Propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

o Interface with teams such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination across departments.

o Participate in regular meetings to discuss production plans, challenges, and solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

o Contribute to the documentation of planning and production processes.

o Generate reports on key performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement.

Health and Safety Compliance:

o Adhere to and promote health and safety guidelines within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:
