Job description

Looking for a rewarding opportunity where your expertise can make a lasting impact? ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an outstanding school district in Buckeye, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with elementary-aged students while taking on a collaborative leadership role by overseeing an onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This is also an ideal position for TRAVELERS!

Position Details
  Location: Buckeye, AZ
  Setting: Elementary School
  Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
  Caseload: Elementary students
  Additional Responsibility: Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and supervision for the district's onsite COTA.


Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct and consultative OT services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs.
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and related service providers to maximize student success.
Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (where applicable).
Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical oversight for the onsite Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with state and district guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain before start).

Active AZ IVP Card (Fingerprints-easily transferable for out-of-state or "traveling" candidates).
Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred.
Experience supervising or collaborating with a COTA is highly desired.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
