Job description

The CBSS EC teacherย will support EC students in aย small group setting. ย Students in the EC setting need support with behavior and communication skills. ย The teacher must have patience and be able to coach students with problem solving and life skills.ย  The teacher will be responsible for setting clear directions with at least two instructional assistants in the classroom.ย  The candidate must be committed to teamwork, excellence, problem-solving skills, and the mission of Marvin Elementary School.
The teacher is expected to collect and maintain extensiveย  and robust data to track progress towards students' IEP goals. The candidate must engage in, and utilize, best practices in order to meet the needs of the students. This will be done through collaboration with our EC staff and the UCPS EC staff. Professional development participation is a must, and an expectation, for this position.
The candidate must be ย Highly Qualified teacher and meet all UCPS criteria for this position.
