Reports to: Director of Business Line

Come grow with us!

Working at ViewSonic is a unique opportunity to do rewarding, meaningful, high-visibility work for a global leader in visual technology. For more than 36 years, ViewSonic has built a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and customer focus. Our products and brand are well known throughout the industry, and we continue to grow by investing in people who take ownership, think strategically, and execute with discipline.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated Product Manager to own and grow our Commercial Display (CDE) and Projector (PJ) product lines. This role is critical to ViewSonic’s success in the Commercial Display and Projector markets. You will have meaningful ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape product direction in categories that are central to our ProAV strategy.

Your Role and Impact

The Product Manager will act as the business owner for the Commercial Display and Projector portfolio. You will be accountable for portfolio strategy, product lifecycle management, profitability, and execution, working cross-functionally to ensure products are competitive, well-positioned, and successful in the market.

This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Global Product Development, while serving as the single point of accountability for category performance.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Planning

  • Identify and recommend new product opportunities through market analysis, industry and technology trends, and Voice of Customer insights.
  • Define and maintain the business strategy for the Commercial Display and Projector portfolios, including market positioning, line architecture, and contribution to company strategic objectives.
  • Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle management—from concept and launch through maturity and end‑of‑life—by leading cross‑functional activities and decision‑making.
  • Drive SKU planning, line extensions, rationalization, and end‑of‑life decisions to maintain portfolio health and reduce unnecessary complexity.
  • Develop and recommend pricing and promotional strategies to ensure competitiveness across channels while achieving gross and net margin targets.
  • Own demand forecasting and financial planning for assigned products, including revenue, margin, market share, promotional spend, and lifecycle assumptions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to align forecasts, lifecycle plans, and inventory strategies, including mitigation of aging or excess inventory.
  • Maintain competitive line mapping and ongoing analysis of key competitors, ensuring ViewSonic offerings are well-positioned by price tier, feature set, and target market.
  • Continuously track industry trends and emerging technologies to inform roadmap planning and long‑term strategy.

Customer, Sales & Market Engagement

  • Serve as the Product Champion and primary spokesperson for the Commercial Display and Projector portfolios across sales, customers, partners, and press.
  • Translate customer, channel, and sales feedback into clear product requirements, roadmap inputs, and business tradeoff recommendations.
  • Present product strategy, portfolio direction, and technical roadmaps to Field Sales teams, customers, partners, and press as required.
  • Support sales execution through customer visits, sales trainings, channel events, trade shows, and roadshows.
  • Collaborate with PR and Marketing teams on press briefings, product launches, and industry events.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customers, partners, trade events, and global product planning meetings.

Cross‑Functional Execution, Communication & Enablement

  • Lead cross‑functional launch readiness in collaboration with MarCom and Channel Marketing, including positioning, specifications, pricing decks, web content, sales tools, and training materials.
  • Act as the primary interface between Sales, Customer Service, and Product Development to ensure quality issues and market feedback are incorporated into product improvements and future designs.
  • Participate in regular international meetings with global product development and operations teams to review development progress, supply updates, risks, and action plans.
  • Deliver product training and enablement for internal teams, channel partners, customers, and press through webinars, sales meetings, and live events.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in product management or product marketing within AV, displays, projection, or adjacent hardware-based technology markets.
  • Proven experience managing products through full lifecycle ownership, including launch, pricing, forecasting, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in pricing strategy, margin management, and demand forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of commercial AV ecosystems (e.g., control systems such as Crestron or Extron) and their implications for display and projection deployments.
  • Familiarity with modern collaboration environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms) and device management concepts as they relate to commercial AV solutions.
  • Comfortable making data-informed decisions in ambiguous environments, balancing market needs, technical constraints, and financial targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and present effectively to sales teams, customers, and executives.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, including regular collaboration with Asia-based teams.

What’s in it for you:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options
  • 401k with company match
  • Paid Time Off
  • Company provided equipment

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Environment: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days off-site
  • Travel: Up to 25% travel, mostly to attend major tradeshows with occasional customer visits
  • Physical Effort: Work requires infrequent physical demands
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
