Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic located in Escondido, California. Work Environment

Your role will be conducted onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, which is designed to facilitate optimal patient recovery. The clinic is well-equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to support diverse rehabilitation programs. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent and manageable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patientsโ€™ physical capabilities to establish individualized treatment goals that align with their desired outcomes.
  • Manage a dedicated caseload of one patient at a time, ensuring focused attention and tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Administer evidence-based treatments and interventions aimed at enhancing range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques based on each patient's unique condition and progress.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques and specialized exercise protocols to encourage recovery while minimizing reliance on medications.
  • Design customized fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to facilitate coordinated patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment progress, adapting care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
  • Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive mindset towards recovery and well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal issues. A keen focus on individual patient needs allows us to tailor treatments effectively, ensuring that each person receives the attention and care they require to regain full function and quality of life. Your ability to connect with patients will play a significant role in their recovery success.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • An unblemished professional record without any history of disciplinary actions.
  • Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to create effective exercise protocols.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain patient documentation efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in creating personalized care plans that lead to significant patient improvements in mobility and function.
  • A solid understanding of current best practices in physical therapy, including alternative treatments that enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

Pro Elite offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
