Job description

Product PR & Review Management - Turn launches into cultural moments and reviews into competitive advantages.
  • Own the full product PR lifecycle: messaging development, press release drafting, embargo coordination, reviewer outreach, and post-launch amplification for all Elgato NPIs and partnership announcements
  • Build and maintain a tiered media list across tech, creator-focused, lifestyle, and business publications
  • Develop reviewer briefing kits that translate specs into creator outcomes and drive Elgato products strategies and narratives
  • Manage seeding strategy for new product categories, identifying which creators and journalists get early access and why - creating momentum for every Elgato NPI
  • Track review sentiment, message pull-through, and share of voice. Feed insights back into product and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with Corsair Gaming and Fanatec teams on coordinated Stream Deck Everywhere launches: aligning embargo timing, shared media briefings, co-branded narratives, and cross-ecosystem storytelling that positions Stream Deck as the unifying platform across gaming peripherals, sim racing, and creator tools

Strategic PR & Thought Leadership - Shape the narrative. Don't just react to coverage - create the stories the industry wants to tell.
  • Identify and develop proactive story angles around creator economy growth, gaming, and the convergence of consumer and professional AV
  • Draft bylined articles, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces for executive placement in Tier 1 business and tech publications
  • Build quarterly PR plans with clear objectives, target outlets, story angles, and KPIs aligned to business goals
  • Monitor competitive communications weekly. Flag opportunities for Elgato to lead industry conversations
  • Advise on announcement timing and sequencing to maximize impact and avoid collision with industry news cycles

B2B, Pro AV & Broadcast PR - Extend Elgato's reach into professional markets while keeping the brand authentic.
  • Develop B2B-specific messaging for enterprise buyers, IT decision-makers, and AV integrators. Emphasize reliability, scalability, deployment simplicity, and total cost of ownership
  • Write for Pro AV and broadcast trade press in the language integrators and engineers speak
  • Create vertical positioning for corporate communications, education, houses of worship, and broadcast/production segments
  • Produce case studies, solution briefs, and white papers that serve as proof points for enterprise credibility
  • Support B2B team with trade media outreach, distributor announcements, and vertical market thought leadership

Event & Speaker PR - Make Elgato unmissable at every event that matters.
  • Develop event PR timelines for key shows: pre-event outreach, on-site media appointments, demo coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Identify and secure speaking opportunities at key events and relevant podcasts/webinars
  • Prepare speaker briefing docs, talking points, and executive bios tailored to each audience context
  • Compile post-event reports with coverage analysis, key conversations, and actionable learnings

Crisis & Issues Management - Protect the brand. Move fast, stay calm, be transparent.
  • Develop scenario-based crisis playbooks covering product issues, supply chain disruptions, social media backlash, and negative reviews going viral
  • Draft holding statements and Q&A documents that can be activated within hours
  • Provide real-time messaging counsel during active situations, balancing transparency with legal and business considerations
  • Coordinate with Corsair corporate communications when issues have parent-company implications

Global PR Strategy & Coordination- Build the playbook the whole team runs.
  • Define global messaging frameworks, positioning documents, and launch playbooks that ensure consistent Elgato narrative across all markets
  • Set the PR calendar aligned to product launch roadmap, (r)etail moments and industry events
  • Lead, coach, elevate and coordinate a small global PR team to improve PR execution in existing markets
  • Establish measurement framework: media coverage tracking, sentiment analysis, share of voice, AI search citation monitoring, and earned media value
  • Build and maintain global media database and press kit infrastructure

AI-Powered PR (Cross-Cutting) - Use AI to elevate every aspect of the work.
  • Develop a systematic earned media approach that builds the third-party citation footprint required for AI-generated search answers (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude)
  • Leverage AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate press release drafting, pitch development, messaging iteration, and briefing document creation
  • Use AI-powered media monitoring and sentiment analysis to surface coverage trends, competitive signals, and emerging story angles faster than manual methods
  • Apply AI to media list research, journalist profiling, and outlet analysis to improve targeting precision and outreach efficiency
