Job Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dependableย Home Health Personal Care Aide โ€“ PCA to provide one-on-one support and care for a client in a home setting in Newport Virginia. This position is ideal for a caregiver who enjoy helping others maintain independence, comfort, and safety while having flexibility and control over their schedule.

As aย Home Health Personal Care Aide โ€“ PCA, you will assist clients with activities of daily living while providing companionship, emotional support, and personalized care.


Responsibilities of Home Health Personal Care Aide โ€“ PCA:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in a home setting
  • Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation assistance
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Provide medication reminders and observe/report changes in client condition
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Offer companionship and participate in activities clients enjoy such as reading, games, puzzles, and hobbies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and care team members

Qualifications of Home Health Personal Care Aide โ€“ PCA:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • PCA certificate from an approved program required
  • Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred
  • Current tuberculosis test required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
