Highland Hills Medical Center - Senatobia, Mississippi

Position Type: PRN

Schedule: Flexible Day and Night Shifts | Weekdays and Weekends Available

Highland Hills Medical Center is seeking an experienced and motivated PRN CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. This position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for day and night shifts, including weekday and weekend coverage.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality imaging services while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and image quality. This position serves as a primary point of contact for patients during their imaging experience and plays an important role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction. The technologist serves as a key member of the healthcare team by ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate imaging services.

Responsibilities

Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

Operate CT and X-ray equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety.

Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Current Mississippi Medical Radiation License.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred:

Previous CT experience and CT-specific training.

Experience with major CT equipment manufacturers' hardware and software
