Job description

We are seeking a UNARMED PATROL OFFICERS \ SECURITY OFFICERS to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available:

  1. Part Time 2 Days / Week - La Jolla/Del Mar patrol/driving 2030 to 0730 (11hrs = 8hrs Regular / 2 hrs. Overtime / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  2. Part Time 2 Days / Week - East County patrol/driving 1900 to 0600 (11hrs = 8hrs Regular / 2 hrs. Overtime / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  3. Part Time 2 Days / Week - North County/Oceanside patrol/driving 1400 to 2300 (9hrs = 8hrs Regular / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  4. Full Time 5 Days / Week - North County/Oceanside patrol/driving 2130 to 0630 (9hrs = 8hrs Regular / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  5. Part Time 2 Days / Week - North County/Oceanside patrol/driving 2130 to 0630 (9hrs = 8hrs Regular / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  6. Part Time 2 Days / Week - Central County patrol/driving 0700-1600 (9hrs = 8hrs Regular / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  7. Part Time 3 -4 Days / Week - East County Waling patrol/ Driving patrol/ 2200-0300 (9hrs = 8hrs Regular / 1 hr. Lunch-unpaid)
  • Note; Depending on availability and scheduling more than one Part time shift can be requested.

    $18.00 to $20.00 per hour pending on qualifications.

    You must have and maintain a valid guard card in order to be eligible for continued employment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
    • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
    • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
    • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
    • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
    • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
    • Log and cite vehicles as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • A Valid Guard Card issued by the State of California is required for immediate hire.
    • A Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record is required
    • You must be available to work assigned shifts including Holidays, weekends and overtime as needed or required.
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must have reliable communication (Cell Phone with internet access) and be Smartphone and Computer Literate
    • You must be able to stand, sit and walk for duration of your work shift
    • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields a plus
    • Familiarity with security equipment
    • Ability to handle physical workload
    • Strong attention to detail

    PRIVATE SECURITY requires at least 8 hours of sleep prior to assuming the duties of a patrol officer, employees cannot work another job on the same day they are scheduled to work a patrol shift.
