Job description

Security Officer- 2nd Shift
Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Naperville, IL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Pay: $18.65 per hour

Note: Union position

Requirements
  • Valid Illinois PERC guard card
  • 20-hour security training certificate
  • Successful pre-employment drug test and background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Computer skills and experience with common software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write clear, detailed reports
  • Customer service and conflict-de-escalation skills
  • Security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred
  • Fire panel experience is a plus
Job Duties
  • Monitor and report activities
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols
  • Report suspicious activity or persons
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports
  • Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Provide professional customer service
  • Operate vehicles, golf carts, or bicycles if required

Candidates must maintain all required licenses and be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and function effectively as part of a team.
