What You'll Do
Access Control & Patrol
? Verify credentials; grant access to authorized personnel and deny or escort unauthorized
individuals.
? Maintain stationary posts and conduct regular interior/exterior patrols.
Incident Response & Reporting
? React swiftly to alarms or disturbances; summon law enforcement as needed.
? Document all incidents with clear verbal briefings and comprehensive written reports.
Deterrence & Interaction
? Project a professional, high-visibility presence to discourage criminal activity.
? Observe and report suspicious behavior or safety hazards.
? Interact with people on the post and de-escalate potential threats.
Client Engagement
? Interact courteously with clients, visitors, and staff, upholding SafeHaven Security
Group's standard of service.
What We're Looking For
? Experience:
o Preferred: 2 years as a credentialed CSO/CSSO or prior military/law-enforcement
service.
? Licensing & Screening:
o Valid driver's license with a clean record.
o Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen plus state & FBI background checks
(felonies and most Class A misdemeanors disqualify).
? Education & Certification:
o High School Diploma or GED.
? Physical Abilities:
o Able to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
? Skills:
o Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
We prefer to partner with someone with the following education and experience: Private Security Officers to perform their job duties in compliance with state requirements such as additional training and credentialing.
Must have the ability to handle administrative tasks and be physically able to walk/climb at the facility.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to perform aforementioned physical tasks
• Ability to utilize a high emotional quotient to build relationships with DomTar employees.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Current or previous military and/or police experience is appreciated
- National register for EMT is an additional bonus but not required.
ABILITY TO PASS STATE AND FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS IS REQUIRED. ANY FELONY AND MOST CLASS A MISDEMEANORS DISQUALIFY APPLICANTS EVEN IF THE CHARGE WAS EXPUNGED. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 10 PANEL DRUG SCREENING.
