Nurses Make a Difference!\r\nNow offering Recruitment and Referral Incentives at the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS)!\r\n$10,000.00 recruitment incentive for:\r\nRegistered Nurses\r\nAdvanced Practice Nurses\r\nNurse Consultants\r\nNursing Supervisors\r\nCompliance Nurses\r\n$7,500.00 recruitment incentive for Licensed Practical Nurse\r\n$5,000.00 recruitment incentive for Certified Nurse's Assistant\r\n\r\nReferral bonuses of $1,000 are available to referring DHSS employees.\r\nYou must be a new employee to the State of DE to be eligible for this program.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) seeks to increase the number of applicants for clinical nursing positions by offering a recruitment incentive to eligible Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Nursing Supervisor, Compliance Nurse, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Certified Nursing Assistant candidates in accordance with the DHSS Recruitment and Referral Incentive Program.\r\n\r\nThe program provides incentives as follows:\r\nRecruitment incentives will be paid in quarterly installments over the first year of hire and will begin after the first quarter of employment. New employees accepting this recruitment bonus must commit to two consecutive years of employment with DHSS. You must be a new employee to the state to be eligible for this incentive.\r\nReferral bonuses of $1,000 are available to current DHSS employees who refer new hires to the state in the following classifications: Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Nursing Supervisor, Compliance Nurse, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Certified Nursing Assistant. Summary Statement

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) position located at Porter State Service Center's Public Health Clinic will provide services such as comprehensive physical examinations, preventive health services, prescribe treatment, and lab orders. Services may include tuberculosis prevention and control, child health, immunizations, adult health, and sexual and reproductive health. May participate in community vaccination clinics and disaster response. Additionally, they may also provide services at other locations in other counties to support operational needs\r\n

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Possession of a Delaware Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license or temporary permit for a Delaware Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the specialty area of Family Nurse Practitioner.\r\n\r\n
