Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) play an essential role in the healthcare system by providing primary care to patients of all ages. They work in various settings and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care possible. In this article, we explore the primary responsibilities of an FNP, the settings in which they operate, their collaborations and teamwork with other healthcare professionals, educational requirements and training, and the impact and importance of FNPs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Current RN License, FNP certificate, and furnishing number.

2. Current CPR certification, ACLS, and PALS certification required.

3. Current DEA license.

4. One (1) year of experience PREFERED

5. Excellent communication and writing skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

7. Ability to work well under pressure analyze and evaluate individual member’s needs, reach sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.

8. Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task effectively.

9. Demonstrate experience in the delivery of primary care.

10. Must be sensitive to the diverse patient population.

11. Demonstrate clear knowledge of Georgetown Medical ASSOCIATES structure, standards, procedures, and protocols
